Description

5cc x 3/4" TP Tri-Port Darts Type U Pneu-Dart 5 Darts per Package Whether your task is to medicate or capture, Pneu-dart has the ideal drug delivery system for you. Our disposable darts come in a broad array of sizes, are easy to fill, and are color-coded to speed identification. Pneu-Dart has fortified its plastic dart body by transitioning over to clear polycarbonate resin. Equipped with a color coded polypropylene type 'P' tail, the new PolyCarb dart is ballistically equal and structurally superior. (Poly dart only available in .5cc - 1.5cc darts.) Pneu-Dart Type 'P' darts (color-coded in yellow) are for use with our smooth bore CO2 Air Guns, Pump-Up Rifles and Blo-Jectors. All larger than 1.5cc darts are designed with Aluminum bodies. Tri Port Cannula provide both lateral and end-port distribution. How They Work Type P darts each contain a small explosive charge which detonates on impact and quickly injects the drug. Equipped without a retention device (gel collar / wire barb) the 1cc dart will typically bounce off and away from the animal upon impact. However, due to the small quantity of fluid, and the rate of injection, the injection will be complete. As an added feature, the dart will "flash" upon impact providing visual confirmation. All darts currently produced will require a 19 gauge hypodermic fill needle. These darts come complete EXCEPT for the product you want to put in them (Tranquilizer, Anitibiotics, or Vaccines) you decide. The charge is already in the dart, so all you do is fill the dart, load the rifle, pump it up and shoot. We have found so many uses for this setup at the feedlot and in the pastures, treating for pink-eyes, foot-rots, scours and pneumonias. Easy to use, quick to fill "Treat them when you find them" not 2-3 days later. This air rifle is for the person that has limited or occasional use for an immobilizing gun. Its design is simple but effective. No fire-arms license required, No hazardous shipping charges.
