Autographed Brick from Notre Dame Stadium.
This is an original brick from the football stadium at the University of Notre Dame. The stadium was built in 1930, and this is one of the original bricks that was removed during the stadium renovation in 1996-97. Many of the bricks were smashed or broken up into pieces during the renovation project, and there were very few bricks that remained in excellent condition.
Additionally, this brick is hand-signed by former Notre Dame quarterback Tony Rice (#9) and nose tackle Chris Zorich (#50). Tony Rice was starting QB on the 1988 National Championship Team and co-captain of that team, and he won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award that season. Chris Zorich earned Consensus All-American honors during the 1989 and 1990 seasons and won the Lombardi Award in 1990. Both autographs are in mint condition.
The brick comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the University certifying that it is authentic Notre Dame Stadium Memorabilia.
It is extremely rare to find an autographed piece of authentic Notre Dame memorabilia in such pristine condition.
